With just over two months to go before we head to the Guildhall School for our second flagship course, CVT is very excited to announce that Nicholas Gibbins, Consultant Otolaryngologist at University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich, will be one of our illustrious guest speakers this summer.

Nick works with many professional voice users in his day-to-day work and we’re thrilled to have his unique expertise on hand throughout the week as we explore the anatomy and physiology of the voice.

We’re also pleased to announce that the provisional timetable for the Guildhall course has just been released. If you head over to the Guildhall 5-Day Flagship Course 2017 page you’ll find a PDF of the proposed schedule for the week. This isn’t a prescriptive timetable and changes may occur between now and the start of the course but we hope this gives you a more detailed idea of what we have planned for the participants in the summer.

On a less exciting note, CVT is sorry to announce that the planned Choral strand of the July course will no longer be going ahead. There are various reasons behind the decision and it has not been taken lightly. Please be assured that any participants who have already signed up and completed the application process as choral singers will be catered to during the course but, unfortunately, some of the planned activities cannot take place.
